To be fair, if the downtime is this long it's probably something serious, if a bug corrupted the db state during downtime they'l be able to restore from backup (they probably backup every downtime, I would) but it would take ages to restore. |

Sounds more like a hardware problem than software. Did CCP remember to pay the electric bill and is it plugged in? Don't have have a cluster of servers? Isn't the whole point of that to make sure that a hardware problem is contained to a single machine?
